Vehicle Detail
1923 Model T Touring. Complete, not running. Engine turns over by hand. This car was owned by a quirky older gentleman who was not a car guy. He bought it on a whim and never learned how to drive it. It probably travelled up and down his driveway once or twice, then for reasons unknown except to him, it was parked while in running condition and then left to sit for several years. According to him, he had bought it around 2010, so it has sat since then, under a lean-to. I rescued it from this state and dragged it home and am offering it for sale. I would like to keep it, but have too many projects at this time and am out of room. I just couldn't let it sit out where it was any longer. The lower body looks like had repairs/alterations done to it a very long time ago. It is overall fairly solid. The worst of the rust is in the rear lower pan and the passenger side splash apron/running board. Please look photos over. It has a honeycomb radiator, wiper, luggage rack. The engine turns over with the hand crank, I suspect it will run. The top bows are in place. The tires are all flat and cracked. However, the wheels are in good condition. This car came to me with no title, I will be selling it the same way. I will provide a bill of sale. This is a great entry level T for someone just getting started, or the passionate seasoned restorer. If I were keeping it, I would just make it run and drive it around as is, although it could be a full restoration project if desired. Please ask any questions you have and understand what this car is before bidding. It is not perfect. It is a good starting point though, or something to tinker on and enjoy as is.
