Vehicle Detail
Hello family, friends, and fanatics. At this time I'm selling off my 1999 Acura Integra. I'm not a dealer, it's been in my possession for 7 to 8 years. When I first purchased the car, it needed a head gasket and a timing belt. Then I had it garage for a better part of a year. I just put in over a $1000 for parts and labor for a basic inspection this past summer. A CV joint and arm on the driver side. Two new front tires and fairly new back tires. Front rotors, axle bearings, and brake shoes all around. A new exhaust and Muffler from the Cat. back. Not to mention a new battery and 2 front wiper blades. Three issues since I bought the car. The blue demon smokes a little in the winter for less than a minute. But doesn't drip or lose any oil??? The automatic transmission "sticks" for a second when the gears switch from 2nd to 3rd. I paid good money to a well-known and Certified mechanic to tell me that the automatic tranny is completely sealed and would have to be replaced. NOT TRUE!!! I found the reservoir myself I still think it needs fluid or a flush. The air compressor needs replaced, a mechanic removed the belt pulley for the mean time. Now on to the reconstructed title. Less than a week after I had the front wheel bearings installed a local school bus driver (first day on the job) decided to go out of his route and managed to hit the back end of the Acura. LOREN GERLACH was charged with a hit-and-run, hopefully ending his bus driving career for the Altoona Area School District permanently. The damage was minimal, a 2-foot that from the front of the back passenger side wheel well to just knocking out my tail light. I paid $313 to have an ENHANCED INSPECTION and $48.23 for a tail light housing assembly therefore passing two state inspections!!! A couple added features. I have the original key along with two spares. I have an adapter for to anti-theft nuts on the back rims. I found the matching color paint for any touch up work. 2 High output halogen headlights. (Not installed). I'm also including 2 new tail light housing assemblies pictured. (Not installed). My opinion, I would never give up on this vehicle. The only reason I'm selling is because I ran out of cargo room with three children. For being one year shy on wearing vintage plates, the blue demon flies like a bat out of hell!!! Professional drivers only, others please use the extremliest of precautions. Please ask any questions and don't forget to check put my other auctions. Thanx and good luck.
