Vehicle Detail

Someone asked me to provide them a vehicle vin report from bikevincheck.com, Lots of folks seem to be hung up on the fact that I have a Georgia title and the bike is in California. I just moved to CA, if I go register the bike here, it will be 2 or 3 months before I get the CA title back in my hands, and I need to sell it sooner than that because I don't have the room for it. You will get the clear, signed GA title and a bill of sale. That is all you need to register it in CA or anywhere, the same as if it were a CA title...you still have to register it and transfer title, so it makes no difference if it's GA or CA registration. I have a 100% positive feedback as a buyer and seller on eBay, and I intend to always keep it that way. You can rest assured that this bike is in the as described excellent condition stated in the ad. Please reach out with questions, I am happy to email the vin report and additional pics. Ready to Ride! 2005 BMW R1200GS clean, clear title in hand. Standard adjustable height seat, as well as a new factory matching grey low seat. 3 Vario expandable hard bags (3rd one has pillion adapter so it doubles as a back rest, or it can be mounted on it's standard frame and you can still have a passenger) All 3 vario hard bags include their inner soft bag, and all 3 expand and retract perfectly, no issues with them.. Zumo satellite navigation with XM sat radio, Bluetooth and weather. Phone mount, factory tool kit and tire repair kits, air compressor, special tools and spare gear lever, as well as other maintenance spares, etc. Metzler Tourance tires in good condition, probably a couple more seasons on them. KAOKO throttle lock, nose extension, Bike cover and battery maintainer. One of the side bags has an assortment of straps and rain gear. If they fit you, and you want them, you can also have 2 expensive Shuberth flip face and an Arai Vector II helmets all in their boxes, They all have speakers mounted, and 1 has Bluetooth adapter, I have a vintage BMW leather jacket as well that is matching blue and silver with blue lining, it's very cool, I also have some BMW leather trousers as well in grey! I also have an AlpineStars armored jacket and a warm weather mesh jacket as well, all Medium size, the Alpinestar jacket runs a little larger than the other 2. Here's the thing, If you go buy one of these bikes, you are going to go out and spend thousands bucks on accessories and maintenance items...(ask me how I know). Buy mine, and you are getting everything you want and need on day 1 without having to spend the extra $3-4K I did! I mounted the Zumo on the factory handlebar central mount, and it is wired to the factory navigator power harness. I also added the auxiliary lighting switch and harness from a GSA, but did not get around to adding lights, pick what you want and it will be an easy hookup with the factory harness, I am also including a PIAA light bar in the box. I added the optional metal instrument dash panel with a weather tight twin USB ports to run phones, audio, etc. That also doubles as the magnetic mount for the satellite antenna. In addition to the Vario hard bags with inner soft bags, I'm including the 2 piece factory BMW silver soft luggage as well which is very nice, and I've only had them a couple of years, so they are both like new. I prefer those rather than riding with the 3rd Vario, it gives you a lot more options. The Varios are in great shape, nothing broken, the locks work, and I put new seals in them, and they expand and contract with no issues. The Zumo and the soft luggage alone would set you back about $2000! I've got a box with some spare parts and filters, etc. I have the emergency fuel relay bypass cable as well as a spare fuel pump relay, extra tire repair kits, plugs, etc., etc., all the stuff you want to have if you are adventuring off the beaten path. All fluids are fresh, this Beemer is ready to enjoy. I've recently relocated from GA to Los Angeles, and I don't have the space, or the time to ride anymore, also the traffic sucks here. I have a pretty small single car garage, and it barely fits in there with my Healey, so it and all of the stuff that goes with it are in my way. It's got a little over 33k miles, and runs and rides perfectly. The ABS functions as it should, there are no warning indicators or issues at all. All lights, switches and indicators work as well as the hand warmers. I quickly took these photos before it got dark, and the bike is not as clean as I'd like it to be right now, but I assure you, there is no pitting, rust, corrosion etc. The wheels, frame, engine, plastic, paint and panels are all in fantastic original shape. Any defects you may see in the photos is just dirt. I’ve been looking around, this is the nicest one for sale. I have short video of a cold start as well, that I can email. The engine, gearbox and final drive are all tight and have no leaks, it doesn't burn oil, or have any issues. I have never dropped the bike at speed...I have had a couple of stationary fall overs in parking lots, so the engine bars have a very small light scuffing from those incidents. The plastic valve cover protectors also have some scuffs on them that you can see in the photos, but those happened before I owned it. Those are inexpensive and easy to replace. Any questions, or specific photo requests, feel free to let me know...If you read all of this, this is the bike for you! I have 1 key, and 2 of the alarm/locking fobs. Pictures of them, and the bags and accessories coming later today. db Got a few pics of the nice silver/black BMW Motorrad soft luggage bags, one large, one small. They have all the straps and everything they came with them. I also took pics of the 3 helmets: 1 Sm Schuberth C2 silver, 1 Med. Schuberth C3 White, and 1 Med Arai Vector 2 silver. Also a big box of spares and accessories, rear luggage rack, pillion mount for the 3rd Vario box, oil and air filters crush washers, fluids, special moly grease, and other maintenance items and spares, etc... I can email pics of everything, but eBay won't let me add more... I just dug a tank bag out of a box as well, and inside of it is the original factory BMW Navigator II in it's bag with remote, cables etc! The current GPS mounted is the Zumo which I believe is the same as the BMW Navigator 5 or 6 is mounted to the central factory mount that the Navigator II was on. Also there is an older Garman that is the one like the Navigator II... I haven't powered either one up, but as I recall one has US and Canada maps, and the other (I think the Nav II) has Europe maps...a bucket list item I never got to cross off. So in total 3 different GPS units! Edit: I forgot to mention there is a spare stock GS windshield just like the one on the bike, as well as a large windjammer type windshield as well. It's ugly, but if you are doing a long trip, or in cold weather, it's nice.
