Here's a review from KBB that says it better than I could: "Flat out, this is a great car - highly recommended for those who love to drive! After driving Subaru and Toyota products for the past 12 years, I wanted a different experience. So much power and low-end torque - you really feel it between 30 and 80 MPH. You can hit 100+ without even thinking about it...and the car is 10 years old. There is no turbo lag and you even feel strong torque at 80+ MPH. Solid, solid, solid. Aeros are hard to find, particularly in a stick, but if you do stumble on one, jump on it. The gearbox is positioned comfortably and the turbo allows for varying tachometer shift points. While not perfect, it is an excellent value. Depreciation has unfairly hit these cars. IMO, the 2007 is the model to get since it has the more recent interior layout along with the 2003-2007 body style. Annoyances: The cruise control is on the turn signal stem, causing me to sometimes inadvertently turn the turn sign on when trying to set the cruise. The steering wheel radio controls are on the right side of the steering wheel...I prefer the left side of the wheel. That's about it. The seats are incredibly comfortable, the dash/radio layout is logical, and the styling is sophisticated yet powerful. I am madly in love with this car!" 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible. It's honestly a joy to drive, faster than a Porsche 9-11 from 30 - 60. - unfortunately I'm moving to New York City and can't bring the car with me. 2.8L Turbo charged - incredible fun on the road. Work done in the last year:- New fuel pump- New ignition coils (all six)- Tuneup, oil change, and tire rotationNotes:- No Mechanical issues- Ding on back left bumper from my careless brother backing into a high curb. No dent and could be painted over. See picture 4. Otherwise the car is in pristine shape for 100k.
