2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited - 44,221 CarFax Documented Miles - Two Owners - No Accidents This vehicle was owned by the second owner since 2008. 4 new Goodyear 205-65-16 tires. Easily passes NY State inspection. This vehicle goes to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition. No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask! Runs and drives like a 44k mile vehicle, but it has a noise in the motor. Noise inexplicable occurred around June of 2015 at 40,900 miles. The noise has not gotten worse since then. Actually quiets down upon revving the engine Tapping noise occurs mostly at an idle. According to CarFax the owner tried to obtain and maybe did secure a service warranty contract. However, it looks like they did not cover the noise. The elderly owner would still be driving this car, but he is too old to drive. We can't really diagnose the noise but assume the worst! There are no guarantees or warranties. This would make a great local driver or station car. If you're a "cowboy" it's probably not for you. That being said, it's been driven well over three thousand miles over a period of 2 1/2 years since the noise started - no problem. Upon request I can let you listen to the motor from my speaker phone. Everything works fine. Hey it's a 44k mile car! Body is nice with a couple scratches, a minor scrape and minor damage to lower valance under front bumper. Interior is nice. Car could use a trip through the car wash to really look it's best.
