2011 BMW 328xi SULEV AWD - 174,568 CarFax Documented Miles - No Accidents New York State Residents Please Understand Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle. Starts, runs and drives like new!This highway driven car is near mint with a couple scratches, a scrape and 2 dimples too small to see in the photos.Tires and brakes are almost new.Easily passes the NY State safety inspection.Unfortunately for me, the car will not pass the emissions part of the NY State inspection due to a check engine light.Codes are: P.O. BC Mass Air Flow - P.O. 174 System Lean Bank 2 - P.O. 171 System Lean Bank 1.When I reset the computer monitor it runs great for 20 or so miles, but before the computer monitors reset for NY State inspection the check engine light comes on and it will intermittently run slightly rough.At a traffic light it will idle fine, then you will get a "hiccup" and/or it will occasionally stall (only at idle in drive).It starts right back up and drive away.There's an oil leak possibly from the valve cover and/or the oil filter housing. Not a serious leak and nothing seems to hit the ground.My mechanic does not speak BMW very well so I am selling this car to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition.No Reserve!No Buy It Now!Please Don't Ask!No guarantee or warranty.No engine noises or smoking from the tailpipe.Tranny is tight.Bid with confidence and drive it home.I drove the car about 80 miles - no major issues except for what I previously described.If you drive it home bring your "scan tool".Car will run good with the check engine light on, but will run great when you reset the computer monitor and turn the check engine light off.I have a clean title.AC/Heater fan stopped working - went to fix it and the fan resister and plug are not available.Apparently after I re-read the CarFax, it is being recalled by BMW and parts are on back order, so you will purchase vehicle without the heater fan not working - sorry.BMW should fix if for free.Because this vehicle will not pass NY State inspection ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
