This car is really a blast from the past. I took as many pictures as possible so you could see how beautiful this 1957 Pontiac Star Chief is. This car was bought by my father in Peru, who as a child rode around in the back seat of my grandfathers 1957 Pontiac Star Chief. 40 years later my dad decides to buy one of his own, then ship it to Florida in march 2016 (repainted and rebuilt before shipment), and here we are. The car has been a lot of fun and he has put a lot of time and money into it so it runs well, just like his dad’s did. The exterior body is in great shape with almost no rust other than some superficial areas. Most noticeably rust dots on driver side lower front chrome bumper and some rust on the base of the chrome windshield wipers. Car pulls to the right a little when braking at low speeds but it’s nothing a good brake bleeding wouldn’t solve. Unfortunately we haven’t the time nor inclination to keep up with the upkeep that is owning a classic. We’ve had more than our fair share of fun with the car, now it’s your turn. The interior is the best looking you will find (with fully functioning AC and AM/FM Radio). The original engine has been replaced with a more reliable one (Chevy 350 small block). The car comes with power: steering, windshield wipers, and brakes; a new alternator and a new set of white wall tires (not in photos), and runs and drives great.
