Vehicle Detail
This is a barn fresh Water Buffalo, water cooled 750cc triple two stroke. It’s complete, minus the rear signals. The seat has a split in the cover. The tank, side covers, fork ears headlight bucket and radiator covers were originally Candy Lavender. The original paint is underneath the silver paint. You MAY be able to gently strip or wet sand the silver off, but there are chips through all paint to the metal, so it wouldn’t be perfect. There was a nasty mouse home inside the airbox and carb inlets. I’ve cleaned that, and this week I will soda blast the carb bodies and install carb kits. I have filed the points and checked spark, there is spark and the radiator fan works. I had to cut the rear brake cable to get the bike to roll, the tail light housing is damaged and the lens has a crack, the gauge housing also has a crack you can see in the pics. The right fork ear is bent, the front brake lever bent, the right side exhaust is scraped, obviously from a low side crash. Now, the front brake, 4LS drum front. Some people LOVE them, some are haters, bid accordingly. All of the chrome has surface rust, some looks really bad but I have the bike soaking in degreaser, and with 0000 Steel wool, 98% if it is coming off! I’ll keep at it all week til I’ve cleaned up all the rust off the chrome, the exception being the handle bars, they are the worst part. There is one large exhaust cone missing and the fork gators are rotten. The bike kicks over, and turns over with the start button, But I have not done a compression test or leak down test. This bike will among other things, need a battery, tires, chain and possibly sprockets. Clear title. You must provide your own transport for shipping, and a $500 non refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. This bike is sold as is.
