First off, This is a no reserve auction and the vehicle isn't listed anywhere else so the highest bidder at the time the auction ends will own this beautiful vehicle. The car is a 2001 Jaguar XKR Convertible with the four litre supercharged v8 engine. It has a little over 119,000 on the odometer. I am the original owner. The vehicle has been parked indoors since the middle of 2009 when I purchased a new vehicle. The fuel tank was cleaned, new fuel pumps installed, oil changed, and a new battery was also installed and it fired right up. It has been driven a couple miles and it is still as quick as I remember it being :) It has a clean clear Arizona title. The car has been in Arizona all its life so there is absolutely no rust at all. The top goes up and down as it should. For condition please review the pictures. Things worth noting are that the transmission was replaced by jaguar somewhere around 2005. The michelin tires have plenty of tread but had been sitting stationary since 2009 indoors. I do not have the radio code so the radio is currently not working but I will try to swing by the jaguar dealership to have them fix that before the auction ends. There is no check engine light on but the ABS light is on. The ASC and Traction control warnings also are on and I do not know why. It may be related to the abs light or maybe from sitting. The navigation screen knob is also missing. The rear passenger side window makes a noise but will not roll up or down. I am very picky when it comes to my vehicles and that is why the list above is so long and thoroughly descriptive. It has been a good car and just needs a little love and attention to bring it back to perfect or you can enjoy the vehicle the way it is now. This is not the XK8 model but the XKR and it is a very fast car that was underrated when it was new. It is faster than the corvettes and amg mercedes vehicles of the same year. A luxury sleeper is a great description for this car. PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!A deposit through PayPal is required at auction end in the amount of $500.
