Hello... You are looking at my dads bone stock 1959 Chevrolet Apache. Engine is original 235 c.i. Has a new carburetor, new fuel pump and a new water pump. Starts on first crank. Body is very solid and frame is very solid. Rust is at rear corners of cab. Interior floor is solid. Minor rust holes passenger side corner of floor, but still fist-pounding solid. Under seat area is solid, no rust. Left rear fender has a good sized dent. Pickup runs good- actually purrs! Drives good, good clutch. Seat has been redone. Shifts smooth. Good brakes. Headlights with hi/lo beam work. Heater complete but controls on dash need tlc. Arm-bracket under dash for passenger wiper needs reconnected. Has new old-style tires. Bed is straight and solid, but needs some of the wood replaced at rear portion of bed. Though not needed, a like-new tailgate goes with it. Passenger door glass is cracked. Apparent rust on body seen in the pictures is strictly surface, no metal penetration. Cab side kick vents work good. Will require a new muffler. Regarding title- I applied, thru legal process for lost title and am now the legal owner, as shown on the vehicle registration issued to me by the D.M.V. This allows me to legally sell the vehicle. Every state provides a legal means to obtain legal ownership of a vehicle. I'll send along all my notorized paperwork and registration (in lieu of title). I acquired the pickup thru a barter-deal. A friend, who owned it the last 25 years owed me a fair amount of money, so he bartered the pickup and cash. A logging company owned it since new prior to that. This pickup would make an excellent restore or fun to drive as-is project. Getting very hard to find! Please ask all questions before bidding! Buyer responsible for shipping. This pickup has a 3 speed on the column. It is my dad's pickup...he wrote the description above...I should have been a little more clear on that! I had a couple of questions regarding the road worthiness...This little bugger fires right up...runs great...a little loud without the muffler...but runs great. Very solid old pickup. Right now the taillights aren't working...but dad said he may have time to look into them. I would believe this could make a road trip, if that is how you plan to get it home....The brakes work great, shifts great! I don't see why it wouldn't.
