For those of you who know the SVX you know that the 1997 is the year to have. By that time Subaru had fixed the transmission. I hate to give this car up. I have had it for 5 years and 70,000 miles. It has always had its oil changed regularly and I have changed transmission fluid every 30,000 miles. I moved up north and though the SVX is great in the snow the salt is going to kill it! I have babied this car and can’t stand to see it suffer. It has drilled and slotted rotors, I replaced all four struts and the rear wheel bearings at 90,000, the timing belt, cam seals and water pump and spark plugs at 105,000, alternator and battery at 120,000, the cv-shafts and the drive shaft bearings at 125,000. All parts are original and the car has no modifications. I recently replace the tires and when I did I had the wheels blasted and repainted. About two years ago the car was rear ended and the insurance company declared it a total. I had it repaired. There are still a few wrinkles in the trunk. Car tracks straight and true at 125 mph and wants to go faster, but not with me in it! Comes with shop manuals, original window sticker, original remote, lots of paperwork and a few extra parts.
