2001 Mercedes-Benz ML320 - AWD - 172,900 Miles New York State Residents Please Understand Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle. Truck runs and drives - excellent tranny.This truck goes to the highest bidder!No Reserve!No Buy It Now!Please Don't Ask!Engine has a misfire.Truck sat for almost 2 years and probably needs a coil pack.After replacing the battery it started right up and I drove it 80 miles in traffic and highway speeds with no problems or leaks.Brakes feel good and tires are OK - probably passing inspection.Vehicle will not pass NY State inspection due to a check engine light.Probable cause is the engine misfire.Driver side power seat is not working.Glove box does not open.Body and paint are excellent.Interior is OK, but a little weathered.Nice stereo.Hood pistons are weak, so it comes with a pole to keep the hood up.Back passenger seat is folded down and I can't figure out how it folds back up.Due to the age and mileage I do not want to invest any money in the truck.Interior is a little musty and could use a day or 2 in the warm sun.Vehicle was not racked and there are no warranties or guarantees.Drove nicely - no steering issues.Because it will not pass NY State inspection ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
