FOR SALE is a 1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi. This car has a had CUSTOM work done to improve the overall drivability of the 308. The car is finished in the Factory Metallic Gray exterior with Black leather interior. The car will come with all the original Ferrari books which are stamped from when the car was put into service in CA on 12/29/1984 thru 1999. Then we have receipts from 1999 to present. The car also has a red 3-ring binder with service receipts and service manuals. Here are the main Highlights: 1.) Car was just serviced. Included Oil Change & Oil filter. Coolant system flush. Complete Brake system flush. Also installed a NEW Bosch Electric fuel pump, NEW battery, changed 2 Fuel line fittings, 2 NEW power window switches and a NEW Bosch blinker relay. 2.) ALL 4 factory shocks were replaced with FULLY adjustable shocks. You can set the ride height and firmness on all 4 corners.(instructions included in red binder) 3.) Newer upper & lower ball joints and newer slotted/drilled brake rotors/pads. 4.) Factory Ferrari 18" 360 wheels & tires. 5.) COMPLETE New interior. Includes dash, carpet, door panels, package tray & seats.(SEE PICS) 6.) Custom Audio system. 7.) Built in Radar detector. 8.) TUBI exhaust. 9.) NORWOOD Performance ( Dallas,TX) At 30K miles pulled the motor. They performed a full 30K Ferrari service and an engine rebuild. The 3 page receipt totals over $12K. 10.) THE BIGGEST improvement was performed a year later at NORWOOD Performance. They installed a MODERN Fuel injection system and a MODERN ignition coil system! (service manuals included) This has greatly improved the performance & reliability on this car. We took the car to our local Jim Tune Racing shop. The owner spent 7 hours tuning the car! The car even comes with a disk with the Tune saved on it in case it is needed in the future. This was original an A/C car and still has all the controls inside the car but the A/C compressor & brackets have been removed. Just above the passenger side tire on the fender well opening there are 2 small cracks in the paint. Hard to see but are there.The car also needs the basic Ferrari Belt service done due to time NOT miles. We can do the belt service at an Extra cost. We can discuss prior to sale. They are available from used auto parts sites BUT I would not waste the money on installing the original factory parts. They will not be cheap and they never worked well when originally installed. An Aftermarket system would be must less expensive and work much better if A/C is needed. Vintage Air systems in TX is where I would start. Thanks, Jay Hi,Concerning the basic Timing Belt service, It can be done before the car is shipped, for around $1500 parts & Labor. A 15K Timing Belt service with cam seal gaskets, valve cover gaskets, etc would run around $3000 parts & labor.Thanks,JayOn Nov-14-17 at 08:44:20 PST, seller added the following information: Hi, We have confirmed the Factory exhaust headers with heat shields from the heads to the rear of the car is all original except the factory muffler. The catalytic converter system is all intact. The only modification as stated is the Tubi muffler which bolts on after the Cat system. Thanks Jay Hi.
