Current owner purchased Jeep in 1994 from original owner. Howell Fuel Injection installed 2006. Rebuilt transmission installed Aug. 2012 ( manual transmission). Quadradic electronic distributor installed May 2008. Engine may need to be rebuilt ( leaks oil). Jeep currently located in Vallejo, CA. Original paint except for doors that were purchased separately. Snaps securing ACME top needs to be replaced. The Jeep has power steering, a 20 gallon gas tank and an ACME full Fiberglass hardtop (cloth top also available). . The Jeep starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops well. The four wheel drive works as it should (transfer case works). Some superficial rust on back bumper and cargo area. All gauges work as they should emergency break warning light is out. Never ridden in snow/ice. Somewhat noisy ride. Never been in accident. 1984 American Motors M.R. 252, 255 Manuals available plus original Jeep Corporation sales brochure. Jeep gets lots of compliments. Reason for selling- 33 year old vehicle and seems to have continuous mechanical problems. Needs owner who is mechanically inclined. Jeep is being sold “as is” - cash only.
