Up for sale is a Canadian spec 1988 BMW M6 in need of a restoration. I purchased the vehicle from an individual who has been holding onto it for a few years in its current form. I purchased the vehicle solely for the engine which was included with the car. I am looking to resell the shell itself to someone more invested in restoring it. The car was fully repainted but it appears there was an issue with the paint which caused clear coat pop. The original color of the car should be Lachssilber metallic ( salmon silver ) which was a Canadian only color, I have no idea what the current color is but it is a dark blue shade of something. The interior of the car originally was black, the only remaining pieces I have are the crack free dash ( which is painted green? ) and the front door panels with leather inserts. I have the seats that can be included for extra. ( the seats are green leather / green sued material, they are faded a bit but have no rips or damage ) Unfortunately a lot of items are missing from the car, below is a list of parts I do have for the m6 Complete A/C system besides compressor-Chassis harness is still installed-windshield washer fluid setup-Bumpers + plastic end caps ( with matching vin tags ) -Full suspension ( Bilstein front, rear SLS fully present in the rear ) -All glass besides windshield and rear left window-All of the aluminum / chrome trim ( its all taped up in a bundle in the trunk ) -All of the weather stripping for the most part-Rear speaker pods in black -Tail lights -Front grills Things I do not have / aren't included -Front fenders-Seats ( they can be bought separate ) -headlights-Engine/Transmission/differential/driveshaft-Front door lock actuators ( the doors are tied shut )-front valence-Rear spoiler-Gauge cluster-Any wheel besides what you see in the photos-The majority of the hardware, I did not receive anything with the car besides bolts for front fenders ( which i ironically did not get with the car ) The good parts of the car-Appears to be mostly rust free-appears to not have had any accidents ( considering both bumpers are original ) -Clean Maryland title with 88,000 listed mileage-Rolls without issue and ready to be picked up-it has a crack free dash Whats included with the car?-All of the parts listed above fitted inside of the car in boxes-A clean Maryland title -1 Key Purchasing this m6 is essentially signing up for a full scale restoration, the values of these cars justify the effort but I do not have the time or money to make it happen.
