1985 Honda VF1000R. The first of the "R" Superbikes. Very expensive for 1985 since this was the first water cooled superbike with gear driven cams. 1000cc V4 has an unbelievable exhaust note and this bike turn heads everywhere. It is in fair condition with a few dings and scrapes here and there. The engine and trans are good but needs to have its carburetors sent out/replaced and needs a new battery, fork seals and brake work therefore I am selling as a non-running bike. Included with this VF1000R is a extra windscreen and extra fuel tank (see pics). I have found myself with too many projects thus I have place a very low reserve on this classic. Bike stand not included in this auction No warranty on this bike. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
