Vehicle Detail

1936 International Panel Delivery Chopped Top Rat Rod Rum RunnerUnique and rare this Rat Rod was built to represent a Rum runner back in the mid 30's. Chopped top gives it a low and mean look. Powered by a 1951 Ford six cylinder flat head with a four speed manual transmission. 1967 Chevy front calipers, Chevy single wire alternator,1950 Pontiac rear taillights, and lots of patina and rivets that gives it that Steampunk flavor.Runs great and cruises at 65mph with no problems at all. Electric fan keeps it cool. I love it just the way it is and it is a reliable round town vehicle. You can take it much further and there is plenty of room to go with a small block V-8 and some wide tires on the back.Do up the interior however you like it. Email with any questions and please bid only if you intend to follow through with payment and pick-up. Chopped 4 1/2 inches at the windowsChopped 6 inches below the rockersShortened 13 inches off the lengthOn Oct-25-17 at 09:01:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several questions regarding the build on the International so I wanted to add some background detail.A 1936 International Panel is a very rare vehicle to begin with. It was recovered from the CA desert and has virtually no rust other than the surface patina. The original back doors had been removed and the top was beat to hell. It was too far gone to go back to original condition so it was a perfect candidate for a custom rat rod build. All fabrication work done was professional completed by a metal and automotive shop instructor in CA. This is not a slapped together piece of junk. It runs.drives, and brakes great and rolls at 65mph smoothly with no smoke from the engine. All the wood inside is from a vintage railroad car also found in the desert. You will be hard pressed to ever find anything like it again. I actually starting to talk myself out of selling it so I best stop here. Also it does have a larger gas tank in the back. Just open the back doors and the filler cap is on the right side.
