Originally ordered in Houston, and was in storage for many years, that’s why the body is solid and still has its original quarters, floors, trunk, torque boxes and frame rails. Short block was rebuilt and balanced by a local race engine builder. It’s now a 408 Cleveland with a Scat kit and Probe Pistons. 10:1 compression with rebuilt 4V heads and hardened seats, stainless valves. It has Scorpion 1.73 roller rockers. Elgin Cam and lifters. Lunati Timing Chain. Mallory Unilite Mechanical Distributer. Edelbrock Performer intake, with a 700 Holley DP. Tuff Stuff 1 wire alternator. 3 core radiator. T5 with a new 2.95 Gear Set from Astro Performance Warehouse. It shifts beautiful and transmission is rated at 350HP. The exhaust has the original style 4V Ceramic Coated exhaust manifolds with 2.25” H-Pipe that expands to 2.5” Magna flow stainless mufflers and 2.5” tail pipes. The tips need to be re-chromed. 370 Traction Lok rear axle with new bearings and clutches. New Rear Leaf Springs this year. New interior door panels, all seats have been reupholstered. Dash pad is just a cover, but looks respectable. No headliner. The windshield does have some pitting but can be driven the way it is. No stereo. Someone robbed the A/C before I bought it, so that's why it has a non air lower dash. It’s titled, registered in my name and I drive it anywhere. I’ve driven it for work over 100 miles each way without any problems.
