Vehicle Detail

So you may be confused. The heading says CB750F, but you see a K model? That is because I built a custom Super Sport. I started with a cherry condition 1977 CB750-F Super Sport. I wanted the best performance. I chose a F model, that had triple discs and Comstar wheels, as well as a couple more HP. This bike has had the braking system upgraded to CB900 calipers, which were also powder coated. It stops like a sport bike. I added a K tank, K type fenders, K seat ( new foam and cover ) K side covers ( modified to accept the early K model emblems ). I painted the headlight, the headlight ears and fenders the same candy green. I added fork gaitors. It gives it the real early K model look. I added a custom taillight to clean up the rear view. The candy green paint is a mixture I created and yes, it is a true three stage candy paint job. The 4 - 2 exhaust is an old NOS set of pipes I found for sale. They are in great condition. The rear shocks are new. The seat hinges just like the original F model seat did. It has the center stand as well as the side stand. You pull the choke, press the starter and it immediately comes to life. This bike only has 12K miles on it. The bike comes with a folder of all work done to it by the last two owners. All work was done at shops and it is impressive . .forks rebuilt, entire braking system, etc. The tires are great, there are no issues, jump on it and ride . . . literally. The first two pictures are of how it looks today. I added some pics of the building process for you to see. I can answer any questions, this is a high quality bike. I enjoy building something a bit different, confusing people :) This is a lot of what I like to do/build. I had fun with it this summer. It's my wife's favorite bike to ride with me . . unfortunately I make the bike decisions :) I'm ready to build something else. I'm not letting it go cheap, but it's a reasonable sum I believe. A lot of help came from the SOHC/4 forum as this was my first Honda CB. Bid away . . please :)On Oct-13-17 at 08:19:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to add that the early K stripe on the tank is not a vinyl stripe . . it is paint. Also, the rear brake light has a strobe effect when the brake is applied ,for safety. And if anyone is wanting to make an offer, A BIN could be added to the listing. On Oct-13-17 at 19:36:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Really interesting, the bids. You really think a bike like this would sell for this low? I understand putting in a low bid so you can watch the bidding as the days go . . but get back into the bidding ? I guess you think the bike is all smoke and mirrors? Really a beat up piece, maybe a parts bike? LOL . .just trying to find humor in all this.On Oct-16-17 at 23:44:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Just so everyone knows for sure . . these are early K model items, not '77 K model. This is an early tank, early seat, modified side covers for early emblems. Early rear fender . . not '77 pieces. A lot of custom work was done here and the result is a stockish looking bike. The exhaust is a for an early engine, with the spigots.
