1986 Porsche 944 TurboI am the third owner of this all-original black on black 944 turbo, which I purchased in June of this year. The previous owner bought the car in 1988; it was his wife’s car, which she drove up until 2006 when it became an impractical family car and was parked for the next decade. I bought it from the previous owner with the intention of fixing and keeping it, but I have too many cars and don’t have the space for this one anymore. Up until the point it was parked, the previous owner kept maintenance records, which I have in my possession and will include with the sale of the car. The black leather interior is in fair condition. The seats are somewhat dried, and there is a two inch tear on the bottom of the passenger seat. The dash has many cracks but currently has a cover. The door panels, carpet, and headliner are in good shape. The A/C and climate control work. All interior lights work. The window regulator clips have been replaced, and both windows are in working condition. The boost gauge is permanently stuck on 2. The car has 82k original miles and a working odometer. The 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch engages normally and does not show any signs of slipping. It starts, runs, and drives smoothly and without any issues. The parking brake, front windshield wipers, and trunk and hood shocks do not work. There is one small area of rust on the driver’s side quarter panel caused by a rock chip. Apart from that, the car is rust free, and all body panels are straight. There are two very small dents on the front nose panel. Photos of all paint and body imperfections are included. I also had the car professionally detailed, and the paint now shines despite the fact that it was quite dull from sitting outside when I bought it. There are many imperfections in the paint, but most of them are very minor. Two notable problem areas are 1) the front of the car, which is covered in rock chips and 2) scratches on the middle of the driver’s side door and body immediately behind the door.On Oct-01-17 at 19:09:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have a clear carfax I can send to any prospective buyer.
