I am selling this 1940 Ford P/U for a friend which part of his father’s collection. It is a project that he started but passed away before completing it. The truck has been sitting in storage since 1970. As you can see in the pictures, it was last inspected in VA in 1970. The truck has a 1956 265 SBC but his father replaced it with a rebuilt 350 SBC that he never started after overhauling. It has an adapter to the original style tranny, a 53 Oldsmobile steering wheel, tail lights out of an older Ford as I believe. The steering box is not original but not sure what it came off of. The truck does have a heater but I do not have the original seat (cannot find it). The frame is solid but truck needs a total restoration. The front fender is bent, back fender is bent and there is some rust. The cab floors have been replaced but overall cab is good. The title is a clear Virginia title.
