Vehicle Detail
2004 Ford passenger van E3503/4 ton. 6.8 L Triton V 10Quigley 4x4 w/ 4" lift (lift was required to make it 4wd). Also have a VHS video from Quigley showing just how capable these vehicles are off-road (which i'm sure you can likely find on YouTube).139,908 mi. Single Owner - Senior driver (never beat up, never taken off roading, 4x4 purely for use in the winter) Oil & Filter changed religiously ever 5,000 milesFront end joints replaced at 100,000 milesNew shocks all around including stabilizer shocks replaced at 115,000 mi. Transmission oil and filters replaced around 80,000 mi. General Grabber tires were recently installed 2 years ago... approx half life. As you an see still has plenty of life leftBody is in great shape, no accidents, front fenders on both sides have a slight bubble in the paint which is identical on both sides, likely a weld point to the frame to the fender (see photos). Handicap Accessibility (all professionally installed at Total Mobility in Harrisburg PA)6 way power Driver seat (up/down, forwards/backwards, and swivels for Handicap Chair Accessibility... and the standard manual recline feature)Power sliding doorDrive Master Handicap accessible Swivel LiftThe power sliding door and the lift have a remote to control it as well as can be controlled from outside of the vehicle using a magnet to hidden controls in the headlight (see the passenger headlight in the photo's for hidden/concealed switches)Driver Handicap hand controls which can easily be removedHas a rear bench seat which folds down into a twin size bed. Front seats have always had vinyl covers over them, this was to make transferring from the wheel chair into the driver seat easier, as it isn't easy to slide onto a cloth seat.Comes with 2 extra brand captains chairs (never been sat in). Trickle charge wire set up thru the front grill, vehicle has 2 car batteries. One for the Handicap equipment, one for the standard van use. Only thing doesn't work, as of late, is the air conditioning, it worked fine and likely just needs a recharge. Never had a problem with it in 12 years, only getting rid of it, as the new wheelchair that i have purchased reclines and also goes up to reach items off of the top shelf. The new chair plus user is over the lifts weight limit. So I had to get a new vehicle and am getting rid of this one. I never tried to take the new wheelchair on the lift, it would likely lift it up, but didn't want to break anything. Van includes a aftermarket Alpine Radio, MTX 400w RMS 4 channel amplifier (hidden under the passenger seat) which runs the front Polk Momo Component Speakers and a 10" Bazooka tube with a upgraded Kicker Dual Voice Coil Subwoofer which is mounted behind the passenger seat (and can easily be relocated or removed). Also included a aftermarket car alarm and electric start.Rear Hitch also installed If you need any other information regarding, have further questions, or would like photo's of any specifics. On Sep-21-17 at 17:01:37 PDT, seller added the following information: A number of questions have been received about the van which i wanted to share with everyone. I'm going to scan as much of the original paperwork that i have for this vehicle and post for everyone's reference. The building of this van was not cheap and no shortcuts were taken. The handicap lift has a max capacity of 500lbs. The truck has NEVER been in a accident... ever... there has never been any body work done. The paint on the truck is all OEM...original paint job. And has been professionally detailed on a yearly basis inside and out (including wax) since the day of purchase. The truck has always been thru car washed thru the winter to prevent any buildup under the vehicle and also powerwashed come every spring to ensure no salt or other winter road chemicals are laying where they shouldn't causing un-necessary corrosion (a necessary trick i learned the hard way on my 1990 4x4 ford econoline). Many have been questioning the condition of the rocker panels, which I wasn't aware is a known problem on these vehicles. Not trying to hide a thing on this sale so I've added some additional photo's of the rocker panels... there is some light rust on the bottom rocker panel underneath of the sliding door near the rear wheel and the same exact spot on the opposite side. From what i've read this is where the factory welded the body to the frame (seems to be notorious on these vehicles). As you can see the rust is not all the way thru, has just recently chipped the paint, and can be easily repaired without too much trouble. I should have added that the truck was garage kept most of it's life but is currently parked outside since my new vehicle is kept in the garage. On Sep-24-17 at 11:49:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I've scanned higher resolution photo's as well as numerous scans of the original bill of sale from ford, as well as the handicap equipment and Quigley 4x4 conversion. Also included are instructions for all of the handicap equipment (power seat, sliding door, power lift, and hand controls) However Ebay will not allow me to post this link to Box . com or dropbox . com Please send me a message and i can forward you the link direct... Thank you On Sep-25-17 at 19:22:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Do to a number of requests, i now have images of the engine bay as well as the underside of the vehicle showing it's in good shape. However there isn't any more room in my photo's to post on the ebay site. Please message me and i will be able to provide you with a weblink to Dropbox and box.com for these images. The original build of this truck was over $60,000 and have all the receipts to prove it. Overall height of the van is approx 85-86". My standard size garage was 89" so it just fit...
