First, Let me be clear this car does NOT have a title and has never had one. I listed it as a Lemon or Mfg Buyback because ebay wouldn't let me list unless I had something in the title field. For sale is a 1999 SVT Cobra with a lot of pretty cool history. This car was ordered as an Executive Vehicle from Ford Racing and sent to Roush Racing so they could build her into what she is today. This car is being sold with NO TITLE as it has never had one. It was born as a track car but could easily obtain a bonded title in your state but please check before bidding. I will get into more detail about the car but wanted to tell you why I am selling. I was accepted into East Carolina and plan on attending in 2018. Also, I try and start the car up every month but have been to busy with work and school to do so the last 3 months and started her today and the check engine light came on. I realized how hard it is on this car setting and it is stupid of me knowingly doing this to such an awesome car. I know the check engine light is nothing major (probably just a sensor) because it runs perfect after it goes into closed loop. It was a little hard start and didn't want to take any fuel for the first minute or so. All that being said this car is not a show car or perfect in any means as it lived a awesome life as a track car 14,769.6 miles worth and every paint chip on the car tells a story. This car has character and substance (soul). I do not have possession of the Recaro Racing seat at the present time as I sent it off to have a place fixed where the window net rubbed a hole in it. If I get it back I will install it by auction end. This car comes with all documentation from Roush Racing and a signature by the tech when every stock part was removed and what he installed in its place. As stated earlier this car is not a perfect show car as it lived on a race track from 1999 - 2007. It has been garage stored since. The windshield does have a few rock chips and the paint and interior could use some work but what you see is what you get. No more - No less. This auction does come correct NOS headlights, NOS taillights and third brake light still in the FOMOCO box. Everyone that knows anything about these cars know how expensive they are especially the taillights. I also will include a NOS clear instrument panel lens. These cars came from the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Chandler, AZ. These cars were sent to Roush Racing to be race prepped for the Bondurant School. Custom cooling system including production 6.8L V10 water pump, 001 SVT Mustang Cobra R radiator, engine driven fan with custom shroud and an 18in. electric cooling fan. 2001 SVT Mustang Cobra R engine oil cooler. Battery located in the trunk in explosion-proof box with quick disconnect terminals and master switch. Transmission / Drive train SVT Mustang Cobra Tremec T- 45 5 speed with carbon fiber blocking rings. (Hand- assembled by Roush) B&M Ripper Shifter. Custom steel driveshaft with safety hoop. Production 3.55:1 axle ratio with limited slip. Fuel System 22 Gallon Kevlar-Polycarbonate racing fuel cell. Custom stainless steel and braided fuel lines. Front Suspension Eibach 800lb per inch springs. Monroe struts with custom calibration. Production 1.10in. diameter hollow sway bar. Modified alignment settings. Camber 3.2 degrees negative. Currently 14K miles, only run fully synthetic motor oil (Mobil 1), just received new battery last year and is maintained on a battery tender(not included). Please note that these were never sold in showrooms or dealer stock, these were custom-ordered from Ford Motorsport specifically for Bondurant, hey were removed from the assembly lines and handpicked, also having required additional spot-welds to strengthen the chassis. Then shipped to Roush for a complete disassembly and rebuilt to Bondurant's specs. The Cobra still possess a full interior, powner steering, ABS (with custom defeat switch), powner windows/locks, and functional Air Conditioning.
