1969 Triumph T120 R Bonneville. Early '69 serial number ....1008. Early models had stainless fenders and did not have the bar on the back of the seat. I know first hand, my dad had one when I was a kid and I hung on behind him. My brother and I restore bikes as a sideline to my collection. Our focus is on Triumphs. We've had this bike about 6 months and decided to keep it set up as the excellent rider that it is verses making it a "correct" show bike. The previous deceased owner did such a good job on it that it needs to stay like it is. He was meticulous about electronics and did some nice changes that make the bike reliable. Notice the photo with the fuses and labels. The signal lights and controls are from a later model Triumph. Everything works. The motor has been rebuilt recently and it was done right. It starts easy, sounds good and runs perfect. The motor is tight with no leaks. Important things are correct including the seat pan and wheels. The gas tank is the larger size tank - again good for riding. The color is not correct for 69 but the paint is perfect and it looks great. Estimated mileage since motor rebuild 600.
