1998 Silver Viper GTS purchased from From Roanoke Motors, a leading Viper dealer and award-winning service department. Maintenance performed at Roanoke. Condition of my viper mechanically and cosmetically is 98%. Mechanically it is perfect, drives and handles absolutely like new. Cosmetically, I have inspected it and found a scratch on one rim and a minute rock chip on the front lower facia. That is why it gets the 98% rating on cosmetics. Tires are great. That’s important because they are $2,000 to replace. The front facia is in great condition because I had a $750 clear bra installed to protect the paint. the driver’s side seat bolster that always shows damage quickly is perfect due to the fact that I get in the car extremely carefully. the black muffler covers that are below the door jam that always get scratched up from entering and exiting the vehicle by shoes are perfect because this area was covered with clear bra as well. the rear hatch has Viper Panel Specialties insert panels that cover the back hatch so that your items in the hatch are concealed, a $550 upgrade. this is done without any velcro, screws, or modifications to the viper whatsoever. the skip shift eliminator has already been installed, which is usually the first thing everyone does to their vipers. an aluminum flywheel was installed to increase horsepower. K & N air filters were installed to increase horsepower. a short throw shifter was installed to increase shifting performance. aluminum gauge trim rings were installed for cosmetic enhancement. there are other after market improvements, however for sake of time if you are a very serious buyer i can go into much more detail on the phone. if you are a serious buyer, just skip texting me and just give me a call. As far as references to vouch for the integrity of this vehicle and my personal integrity, I have been involved with the Gateway Viper Club and I have a list of club members that you can call to verify the exceptional condition of this particular viper. For your information and consideration and protection, if you do not know a lot about vipers and have not test-driven many of them, be very careful before you purchase. when I went to Roanoke Motors to test-drive and purchase a viper, the first 2 vipers i drove each had less than 8,000 miles, and cosmetically were near perfect. however, each of them drove super loose and were extremely unimpressive mechanically. At first I thought perhaps all vipers were designed to drive and handle like a piece of junk. The third one I drove, which is the one i bought, drove super tight, like you would think a new car should. The clutch was smooth, steering was tight, suspension was perfect. I then realized that a lot of the vipers, even though they may look awesome, have been beat on so hard that the drive train, suspension, and overall handling will be extremely disappointing, so be careful. Keep in mind, the '96-'98 Viper motors were completely detuned in '99 with much less horse power. The '98 was the last year for the stronger motor. $500 due immediately on paypal, remainder to be sent in form of check. of course car will not be released until check clears.
