When you're looking for the ultimate in cargo carrying capability without sacrificing comfort and reliability, your search will begin and end with a Ford truck that's powered by the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel engine. This '03 F250 Lariat has all the comforts you've come to expect like power windows/locks, tilt/cruise, etc. plus it's a big crew cab so it has the crew and cargo carrying capability that you need but in a short bed model. It also has real four wheel drive too with 3.73 limited slip diffs. Best of all, it's got a 7.3 POWERSTROKE DIESEL engine that runs great! The 2003-model 7.3 diesels are the hardest to find since they only made them for a few months in 2002 and a crew cab, short bed Lariat is the hardest of all. This is no stripped-down work truck. It's loaded-up with many upgrades such as gooseneck & 5th wheel hitches, spray-in bedliner, privacy glass, block heater, and more. There's even a factory AM/FM Stereo 6CD changerplus a flip up console between the front seats. The spare tire is still present. Even if you don't need the hitches in the bed, they're an expensive setup that only adds value to the truck. This truck was traded-in at a local dealer on a new one. We did add the '07 style crystal lens headlights & grille to upgrade from the look of the milky stock ones but the '08-style outside mirrors were already present. These 7.3 engines are practically unbreakable and the later model ones have a lot of upgrades and more horsepower vs the older model 7.3s. We also added a 6-position tuner chip that lets you maximize fuel economy or power. We see these 7.3s all the time with half a million miles or more. This truck is TIGHT too with no squeaks or rattles. With only 179k on it, this truck is barely broken-in! We regularly see these trucks with 400-500,000 miles and running strong. It's a Southern truck so there are absolutely NO RUST HOLES OR RUST BUBBLES. We've had our mechanic go over this truck top to bottom so we wouldn't hesitate to get in this truck and drive it anywhere! Feel free to fly in and drive it home no matter where that may be.
