1960 Studebaker Lark Regal VIII Convertible with V8 & Automatic41,000 Orignal Miles Manufactured by the Studebaker-Packard Corporation, 1960 was the second year of production for the Lark and the first year that Studebaker offered a convertible since 1952. The Regal VIII designates that the Lark has the 259 V8 engine and only 5,464 of the 1960 Lark Convertibles came equipped with a V8. The V8 Lark ran 0-60 mph in about 10 seconds and was considerably faster than the Lark's competition for 1960. This wonderful 41,000 mile classic had been driven less than 50 miles per year since 1980 and starts, runs and drives good and the car shows very well. (The photos of the car were just taken for this eBay listing.) Over the last several years the car was painted, some of the chrome was redone, new carpet was installed and the transmission was gone through. The rest of the interior seems to be very original. At this point, only the convertible top needs to be recovered plus the top rams need to be rebuilt or replaced.
