This car was purchased a little over 2 years ago and was originally intended to be an autox/drift/race project between a few friends, but interest was lost. It's a base model with the Sport package rear spoiler and sport package (Akebono) brakes all around. It's in great mechanical shape, but is relatively loud and obnoxious in its current form - solid bushings all around, locked differential, separate "dual caliper" setup on the rear with a pull-back e-brake, high performance suspension, etc -- it's definitely not for the faint of heart. That said - there have also been absolutely no engine, drive-train, or exhaust modifications to this car; it's completely 100% stock. It also comes with a clean title (in hand), with a clean no-accident carfax, it's street legal and has passed MD inspection in the last few years and emissions in the last year. It's been to 3 area parking lot/autox events and has only seen a couple thousand miles put on it over the last couple of years. At this point I'm looking to get rid of this project and move on entirely. I'm aware that I could part it out/return it to stock and recoup [significantly] more money - but I simply don't have the time or energy to do so. My loss is your gain. The car is in great shape physically and cosmetically and definitely gets attention. It's just too obnoxious for me to drive around the street these days with the solid suspension, welded diff and manual transmission - so in practice it's never used. Reserve is set well under KBB price. Also willing to assist with arranging shipping at your cost.
