It is not clear coated, I would clear coat it if someone wanted it done. The gas tank is no longer behind the seat the rag is stuck in the last few inches of the fill neck that I spot welded into place. Does not leak any fluid of any type and all fluids are fresh from rear end to radiator. I can store it for awhile less than 30 days as long as it paid for. It drives down the highway very nice and smooth at 75mph. These era trucks had small cabs, I'm 6' and 215lbs and I find it comfortable to drive. The truck does not have windshield wipers removed due to cramped space at center of firewall. I can't do any trades at this point. The worst of the rust on the truck is at the top edge of the front nose. Sheet metal was welded on the back side to keep the integrity of the part but still shows ratty.
