For auction is my 1957 Ford Skyliner. This car is an older restoration but is in very good condition. Vehicle has recently had new 3 ¼” wide white wall bias ply tires installed, new fuel pump, rebuilt the generator, and inspected for safety. This vehicle is a car you can jump into, put the top down and drive anywhere. The vehicle shows very well and the interior is in great condition. Door panels are almost perfect, as well as the dash. The seats are in good condition but the red fabric is starting to fade a bit. The interior shows very little wear. I feel like the headliner is original and again still in good condition. I had the sun visors replaced because the original ones were cracking. The top works flawlessly and hasn’t given me any trouble. The paint on the roof and the white on the body looks like it is a very old and shows wear. The paint is still very respectable but is far from showroom. The white has been touched up over the years here and there but considering its age is still very presentable. There are a few areas that would require some touch up and are noted in pictures. The black on the side of body was re painted in 1991 and still shows very well. The paint has a perfect amount of patina that most people would leave it as is. All of the paint is very shinny and shows well, I just don’t want someone to think it is perfect. The chrome is also in good condition but not perfect. It is very good driver quality and is very respectable. The engine is a 292, 2 barrel with an original automatic transmission. Both are in very good condition and operate as they should. The car has power steering, electric wipers, power seat, padded dash and radio and they all work as they should. The original radio isn’t connected but the tape player below the dash is operable. Over all this car is in great condition, and can be driven anywhere. The car is very solid underneath, including the floors.
