This is a wonderful 1981 323i imported back in 1981 by Hardy and Beck. Ordered new with the BBS rims currently on car. This car has not run for years and will need the fuel system cleaned and probably new fuel pumps to run. It does turn over by hand and was not parked for any mechanical reason back in the day. Just not used. Air Conditioning and Sunroof. Manual 5 Speed There is a pile of service records, owners manuals and bill of sale from new. First owner was in Reno NV, purchased and imported through Hardy and Beck paid over $19,000 in 1981 Second owner was in California and moved with car to Minnesota in 1994/1995. Third Owner was in Minnesota and owned to 2004 or so. Forth Owner also in MN and somewhere around 2006 parked in a dry garage. I bought as a project and I just haven't gotten to it. It deserves to be put on the road and used. This is a super clean E21 with the only rust below the taillights (pictured). This was a legal import to the US so the bumpers where changed to the US style and the rear valance did have holes cut for the impact bumpers. They are still present under the euro bumpers. Front windshield is cracked, as well as many small nicks and chips throughout the paint. Front drivers seat needs upholstery and the dash does have a few cracks. Car is original except the radio system which the original owner installed a high dollar Bose system in 1982. Sold as is, will need the fuel system gone through, I have not driven or had this car running. Clear title in my name. Rolls and steers easily for transport. Shipping at buyers expense and shall be arranged by buyer. Car will not be released until payment has cleared my bank. Local inspections welcome.
