1961 Chevrolet 4wd Apache K10 shortbed stepside. This is a project, please read full desription & pictures before bidding. I was told by previous owner that it was purchased new in California by Pacific Bell Telephone Co. & used in the hills of Calavaras county to run telephone cables. It had a pto winch & pintle hitch which was removed by a previos owner. I have original Ca. plate. Truck is in fair overall shape. All gauges are working. Parking brake works. Head, brake & tail lights work. Blinkers do not. 235 inline 6 is running fine, 4 speed sm465 manual transmission with divorced HD 205 gear-driven transfer case. Previous owner said both have been rebuilt & have very few miles on them. 3:90 gears in Dana frt axle, original non dana rear end is blown. I have an extra frt & rear axle both dana's & have 3:90 gears that are included. Will drive with frt wheels to load on trailer. Needs brake job. Extra set of doors & 1960-63 long bed 4wd frame with frt & rear leaf springs included. Truck has typical rust in frt fenders & bottom of doors.There is some bondo @ top of rear fenders & hood. Rockers & floor boards are in good condition, except cut out in floor for pto shifter. Pto & its shifter handle have been removed & floor patched. Bed wood has been covered with galvnized steel plate. Unknown actual miles. Original vacuum brake booster, air cleaner & rear drive shaft are included. Truck is sold as-is. Ask questions, I know I forgot something. Truck is about an 1-1/2 hrs southwest of Boise, Idaho.
