2003 Jaguar XJ8 - 118,168 Two Owner CarFax Documented Miles - No Accidents New York State Residents Please Understand Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle. Runs and drives like new!Ice cold AC.4 new Continental tires with about 1,000 miles on them.CarFax shows last inspection was 3/28/17 at 116,923 miles.Goes to the highest bidder.No Reserve!No Buy It Now!Please Don't Ask!Bid with confidence and drive it home!As you can see, it was hardly used since March and the last record shows an oil change and service on 5/30/17 with 118,122 miles.The car sat for months and the battery was low and needed recharging when I purchased it.This means the computer monitors have to be reset in order for the vehicle to pass NY State emissions inspection. The problem is after driving the car 50 or so miles the monitors did not reset. I can't be bothered driving this vehicle the 100's of miles needed to reset the monitors.Check engine light never came on.Other minor issues are a faulty fuel gauge and the driver door only opens using the outside door handle.The left rear door does not open at all.Right front door works fine.Right rear door only opens from the inside.Unless I did something wrong, I believe the rear doors need new handles, or the Jaguar issue clips are defective and popped off the mechanisms.Body is straight, shiny and clean with a couple of dimples and scratches on and around the body. They are too small to see in the photos and are no big deal.Interior is excellent.There are 2 keys and a valet key.Because this vehicle will not pass NY State inspection ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
