Car sold new in 78 in North Carolina and spent majority of its life there before coming to NY. Original Martinique Blue(rare). Paint 15 years old, still shines nice, very presentable. Original snowflake wheels, Vintage Eagle St's 225/70/15 front, 275/60/15 rear. Car was buffed and new decals added. New brakes, wheel cylinders, transmission lines, fuel lines, new master cylinder, New rug, new door panels, New GM sill plates, New center console shifter plate, New Trans Am logo floor mats(front& rear), perfect original steering wheel, original Delco am/fm stereo(still works great), clock still keeps dead accurate time, new headlights(4), Deluxe interior(Horsecollar design) ( excellent condition for age and clean, one seam on back seat back rest coming undone-easy fix!) This car is 100% reliable, drives beautiful down the road, get's alot of attention. Engine is an aluminum headed 455 "YH" CODE BLOCK, roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer intake, Comp Cam ( over $7500 in motor alone) , Full MSD ignition(Distributor, msd blaster coil, msd 8.5mm wires), Hooker Headers with flowmaster 40 series mufflers.....THIS T/A SOUNDS AMAZING! Brand new Holley 850 double pumper and fuel lines. Car runs strong, very powerful but street friendly and pump gas. 3;42 gears make it a nice combo. Rebuilt Transmission with shift kit, will break tires loose shifting from low to 2nd at 50 mph!! Brand new rebuilt original "bump shifter"- awesome add on, throw it to the right and bang from low to 2nd, to drive and never miss a gear. If you are in the market for a Trans Am, here you go. Fully functional vehicle- headlights work, signals, brake lights, wipers, heat, interior gauge lights. Small crack in dash, typical scratch's and wear. Drivers side fender decal has small lower corner piece that has peeled ( I have brand new fender decals that come with sale) YOU WILL NEVER BUILD A CAR LIKE THIS FOR MY ASKING PRICE....NEVER!! This 1978 Trans Am started life bought from the dealership Martinique Blue and is a "Z" Code meaning it came with the 400 engine a bit more desireable than the 403 olds motor. Car is currently burgundy with gold trim. Sorry if any confusion, i should have worded description better.
