CBX for sale 2nd one from my collection of 3 of which i'm downsizing. My last one SOLD for $16,099.00Clean unmolested, unrestored original low mileage 1979 Honda CBX 1000. 1979 Red 6 cylinder Honda cbx's in this condition are getting hard to find. Bike starts, runs, rides and stops as it should. Extremely strong and fast. Headlight, tail light, and turn signals work properly. Carbs were rebuild a few years ago but could use going through to make it run tops, noticing a slight hesitation between 3-4,000 rpm's According to the vin # this is one of the few 1978 cbx's titled 79. This is about as close to original unrestored as your going to find with just a little over 10,000 miles, certified as stated on title. Original paint, tank in great condition but faded on top, bike shows some patina as she should for being 38 years old. Exhaust's are extremely nice, she has No major rust, no broken fins or plastic. I believe the only things not original are a few parts the original Doctor owner had installed, new front fork seals, new seat cover and Dunlap tires. Bike is located in Lutz, Florida 33548, about 20 miles north of Tampa. The bike can be shipped anywhere in the lower states for around $400.
