Up for sale is an all original 1963 500 xl convertible 390 engine. Runs and drives great. Solid frame dirt on it only. Solid car, convertible top works perfect. I. Had this looked over mechanic calls it all original 390 with ford 9inch rear. Drives perfect. Three speed on the column . Very strong powerful strong running engine. Needs new top, needs paint, chrome around tail lights, patch on carpet under feet drivers side. Everything else solid. My mechanic says he would drive it across the country with no worries. Just had gone through it all oils changed new plugs, wires, battery, tuneup ect......The car has bench seats some say buckets are xl Im not sure but disclosing if buckets were replaced or not. Seems all original car. This car was in a barn across the street and sitting since 2012 on cement floor. Always stored in garages. The reserve is at at a more than reasonable price so It can be sold. This is the car as I got it with the exception of going through it mechanical to make sure it was in proper working order. So that being said here is the car xl or 500 or not. So if it is or not this is the car for sale. Just want to disclose the message I received. All fluids were changed and tuned up and runs smooth and goes down the road beautifully.
