Hello there! I am selling my dads 1964 International Scout. He has been tinkering around with this for a bit. It has the 4 cyl. engine with the 3 speed transmission. This cute little bugger runs like the proverbial sewing machine. The previous owner used it on his ranch. He had the engine rebuilt about 20k miles ago. It drives down the road just like it should. At some point the throw out bearing is going to need to be replaced. It is starting to make noise when engaging the clutch. There are bumps and bruises, and some light rust in areas. Overall very solid little Scout. At some point years ago, it was painted orange. Original color yellow is showing through. Here is what I know about it ... New clutch slave cylinder bracket. New clutch slave cylinder. New master clutch cylinder. New master brake cylinder with brake light switch. All brake assemblies in good condition. New rear brake lines and fittings. Original vacuum wipers in excellent condition. New wiring bus from engine compartment to dash accessories. Front hubs work great. 4X4 works great. New quality electric fuel pump. Has master battery switch on bulkhead under dash. Passenger side gas tank removed...excellent replacement tank comes with vehicle. Installed a marine style 30 gallon gas tank in cargo bay behind seats. Excellent top with rear window will be mounted on rig before shipping. Needs new door window rubber gasket kit. Some small pinholes on floor of rust. Some rust bubbles on body. New thermostat. No overheating issues. Heater/defroster works excellent. Active oil and temp gauges. Speedometer not currently working. All lights work. All glass is good. Horn works. Lighter works. If you are looking to restore a Scout or just enjoy as is....this could be the one!
