Just in time for summer your chance to be cruising this 1965 Ford thunderbird convertible. This car was ahead of its time and has alot of unique features from the sequential turn signals to the tilt away steering column to the convertible top. the thunderbird borrowed the opening mechanism from the Lincoln Contintal where the trunk lid opens electrically in a single piece, hinged at the back of the vehicle, then the fabric top folds down and disappears beneath the trunk lid. The car also has a unique interior. the back bucket seats curve into the quarters and gives it a nice look when the top is down. I would say for the year the overall condition of the car is good. its not a 100 point show car but is a nice driver quality car. that you can have a good time in. the car has a 390 V8 engine with an automatic transmission. the convertible top is in good shape as you can see in the pictures. top goes up&down with a push of a button. The interior of the car is pretty clean the front two door panels could use some attention but besided that its in pretty nice shape.
