Up for your consideration is a 1970 Pontiac GTO with original drivetrain. This is a non ram air automatic car that has been off the road and in enclosed storage buildings since 1977. The car has had three owners and spent its entire life in the same town in Pennsylvania. It is not currently running but the motor is free. I attempted to get it running and replaced the non functioning fuel pump, but it appears the carb will need a rebuild as well. The car needs a restoration but has very good bones to start with. Don't let the rot in the fenders and quarter panels fool or deter you. The underside and floors of this car are solid and the fender and quarters appear to be the only serious rust areas. It looks like typical PA winter salt just wasn't washed off each season and just collected in those areas. The trunk also appears to only have a few small rust hole areas. The original interior is exceptional for a car this age. The only thing that's not nearly perfect is the driver's seat which has a couple of tears. Other than that, the interior is gorgeous and includes the original factory 8 track player which is also in excellent shape. This car is so original that it still has all for of its T3 headlights. Grills are in good shape as well as the endura bumper. This car bears its original color of Granada Gold and black vinyl top. An excellent opportunity to acquire a great Pontiac for restoration.
