Vehicle Detail
Took a job in Seattle and needed a bike to ride so I bought this, put a little money in it and have enjoyed it ever since. There is NOTHING cooler on the road at any price!! This is an AUTHENTIC American Engineering (AMEN) Savior frame with the Spirit Girder Springer fork it was meant to be paired with. What I did to it: had carb rebuilt, new coils, added front disc brake, new grips, new mirrors, added turn signals front and back, new seat w coil suspension, new LED brake light, chopped rear fender, graphics, new clutch cable, new fuel line, wrapped the pipes and added the speedometer/odometer, battery new in 2013. Had the compression checked when I bought it--strong in all cylinders. NOTE: The actual mileage is UNKNOWN. I've put 1,812 miles on since I added the odometer. The CB750 kicks hard. It's fast and handles well. The plunger suspension with the seat coils is comfortable. I've done 100+ miles nonstop many times and not got sore. I'm selling it because I've moved back to Minnesota and can't ride two bikes at once. Feel free to ask questions if you've got em. Electronic ignition and kick start. This bike gets NOTICED!! I love my Road King but you can park this bike in a row of Harleys and this is the bike people will gather around. You will get "thumbs up" from strangers every time you ride it. Good luck with your bid!On Jul-16-17 at 06:44:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional info: It's titled as a "1978 Honda CB750K Model 7". The VIN is 807501198. Clean title. SHIPPING: No promises, but if you're flexible on timing, I may be able to deliver the bike--uncrated--to a shipping terminal in either Duluth, Minnesota, USA or St. Paul, Minnesota, USA (your choice). If that can't be worked out, your shipping company would have to pick it up at a residential address in either city (again, you choose which). On Jul-23-17 at 06:27:54 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW INFO: I got a question and the answer didn't post in the Q/A so I'm putting it here: The front brake setup was custom fabricated for me by a bike shop in Seattle. When I asked about adding a front brake, they told me it would be expensive but I told them "I only need a bike to do two things, but it has to do both of them well: It has to go fast and it has to stop when I want it to."
