1993 Mazda RX-7 FD3S base model with some factory options added; OEM rear spoiler Aluminum scuff plates (door sill's) OEM car cover OEM front leather bra OEM mud guardsThe car has 14,000kms or 8,700 original miles. Purchased new in Vancouver British Columbia Canada, the car was driven rarely for 4 years, then put into storage. 15 years later was brought out of storage and taken to a Mazda dealer for a check up. It was deemed to still be in good mechanical condition and was shipped to Ontario where it spent the last 5 years stored in an underground parking garage, driven once every few years.Since I've purchased the car, I've changed all fluids, new air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, spark plugs, had the car professionally polished, detailed and ceramic coated.Everything functions as it should, all electronics are in working order, the engine high idles on cold starts, idles perfectly at 750 rpm once warm, twin sequential turbos boosts as they should. I have not compression tested the engine, but I certainly can do that for any perspective buyers. I own a rotarycompressiontester.com tester. Unfortunately I did not have it on hand when I installed the new spark plugs. The BAD:-The leather bra has attacked the clear-coat only on the leading edge of the hood. At some angles it is a lighter color than the rest of the car and then at other angles it is slightly darker. The hood is still smooth and for the most part is very hard to detect there is even an issue. Either way, it's not something I feel needs to be fixed. The paint and clear-coat are original.-Carproof shows a $1400 insurance claim in 1992. The previous owner explained that something fell off a garage door at the dealership pre-delivery and broke the rear hatch glass. The dealership obviously went through insurance to replace the glass.-The oil pan has a very small oil leak, realistically the oil pan is sweating around the engine mounts. Ask any FD RX-7 owner and that is a common problem. Asking $40,000 USD or $50,000 CDN. Shipping and brokerage included to anywhere in North America.
