1971 Rally Sport Camaro A project car that was purchased in 1975, partially customized, never completed, driven sparingly, then stored for 30 years. Finally decided it was time to sell as I realize that I will never have the time or energy to complete the car. Need storage space. Was never my primary vehicle. Odometer shows 32,650 miles however uncertain of actual mileage. The Muncie transmission does not allow the speedometer cable to be connected due to interference with the shifter linkage. The speedometer cable connection would need to be located to the opposite side of the transmission, something I am told can be done. Specifics: 350 cubic inch 8 cylinder small block chevy engine bored 030” over. Mild street cam with hydraulic lifters, 202 slant plug heads. Edelbrock Torker intake manifold. Holley 770 Ultra Street Avenger (model 86770-1 0793) dual feed ,vacuum secondaries with electric choke (2 years old). Mallory electronic ignition. Chrome Hooker side headers. Muncie close ratio 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. 12 bolt posi-traction rear end from 1970 Camaro, either 307 or 331 gear ratio. Power steering, New rear leaf springs. Custom interior ( dashboard needs minor work). Bias ply tires are from the 1970’s with nearly new tread (no dry rot – car was stored). New rug. Body needs some work, has small area’s of corrosion typical for fisher body vehicles of this vintage. The hood is fiberglass. Do not have original metal hood. Have many misc parts for the car.
