Very Nice and Straight, Never Crashed, All Original 1980 HONDA CT 110 POSTIE. All the Collectors what Stock unrestored Original Survivors, and This is it. I never seen one, except this one, and my parents were Honda Dealers for 40 years, and I'm 66 Years Old. It comes with a lot of big dollar Original Genuine Honda Parts that I bought to make it perfect, NEW in the raper, frame cover, side cover, air box complete front and rear, chain guard, main stand (extra equipment) plus the the left rear turn signal not on the Bike. You can see the extra stuff in the pictures. Don't ask me how the air box got so hammered ? because I don't know ? It is 37 years old, and I think at some point some Unreal Genius why'll trying to clean the carburetor left the air box off the bike for a few years and it got destroyed, That's why I spent the big money on Genuine Honda Replacement Parts to make it perfect again. Both gas tanks are Clean. Very low milage 8050, really cool luggage rack and back rest. This is your chance to own a real piece of History. THE SUPER RARE HONDA POSTIE. " THE POSTIE STORY " = Honda made the 90cc and 110cc trail bike from late1963 to still selling today in parts of the world, but stopped selling them in the America in 1987, anyway in 1967 Honda had added a quick change two speed high & low gear box for their 4 speed transmission that helped make the CT Trail Bike Famous, all but one year "1980". In 1980 Honda change from a 90cc to a 110cc and made them without the quick change two speed gear box (Which wasn't popular to do because people loved the convenance of the two speed), main stand, and a few other items. The reason was to lower the price to satisfy a larger order from the Australian, and New Zealand Government's which bought up nearly the entire production made that year, and used them to " DELIVER THE MAIL ", and they were quickly nick named " THE POSTIE " a name that stuck," HENCE THE POSTIE WAS BORN "! Only a Hand Full were ever sold in America that year, and very few were sold any were else around the World. This was a one Year Only Motorcycle "1980", and the Rarest of the Rare ! You've never ever, ever never seen one Boss ! In the following year 1981 Honda put the two speed high & low quick change box back on the transmission of the Trail 110cc Honda, HURLING " THE POSTIE " into Motorcycling History Forever. Today It's one of the most hunted down motorcycles in the America, and every Honda CT Trail Bike is "Second" !
