Vehicle Detail
1996 Ford F250 4x4 5.8 Automatic Very Low Miles Very Original Up for sale is a very clean low mileage (97,750) ford pickup. This truck has not been used the way it was meant to be its whole life. Has only been used as a commuter and never as an actual work truck. Never has had a plow on it. Has never even had a trailer hitch on it! Same owner for the last 16 years (see title picture). Trucks like this are very hard to find anymore. This one is a 96 f250 XL (XLT trim and chrome was added), it has the 351 V8 which runs super smooth and automatic trans shifts as it should. Geared very nicely and runs down the interstate at 80mph like its nothing. 4 wheel drive works great. And good news for being an XL although it does have manual windows and locks this truck was ordered new with air conditioning and it works great! All 4 new shocks, new rear brakes, front brakes are a couple years old and good to go, tires are BRAND NEW have ZERO miles i just installed them so the truck would be ready for the new owner and not need anything. The body on this truck is one of the nicest out there. This is the original paint, there have been no rust repairs. Over the rear wheels is as solid as the day it was built. Up behind the wheel well shows no signs of rust either. Being 21 years old and original paint and body there are a few minor dings and light scratches or road chips but overall very nice. I showed a picture of one dent behind the passenger side 4x4 decal which is the worst dent on the truck but still not very noticeable. There is a dent in the cowl between the hood and windshield on the drivers side, and a dent in the roof at the front towards the passenger side (see link for video below showing close ups of any blemishes.) The rocker panels are perfect, inside the drivers side door jam you will see one little area where the paint has flaked off and rusted on a support panel but that is a panel spot welded over the door jam and there is not structural rust (see picture). On the bottom of the drivers door there are two small spots where the paint is starting to discolor. The frame and underbody is in really good shape. These trucks are known for rust at the rear leaf spring hangers and they are in really good shape on this truck. Most of the factory paint/undercoating was worn off so i did wire-wheel the frame and suspension and repaint it. I may have pictures of before i painted if you'd like to see them but I only did it for looks and preservation, wasn't really needed. The interior in this truck is crazy nice. The seat looks like it was just upholstered but it is the original. No cracks in the dash, no rips in the rubber floor. The headliner is starting to sag a bit but not enough for me to worry about changing yet. I'm sure i am leaving a lot out. This is a super good truck that hasn't even been broken in yet and whoever ends up owning it will be very happy i am sure. I have the reserve set pretty low compared to what these trucks bring in clean condition like this for a quick sale but i am confident the ebay world will bid it up to what she's worth. I do have it listed for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I have tried to describe it as best as i can, I really feel like I've actually talked it down but i understand some of you may be bidding/buying sight-unseen and are spending thousands of dollars so i want to be as clear as i can and i would encourage anyone to come see and drive the truck in person. You will not be disappointed. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please message me, or call or text my cell at 3o2-42o-5o63.
