Up for auction is one 1982 Suzuki DR500 dirtbike in surviving condition with fairly new tires and a Kehin CR Flat Slide carb upgrade. I have the original carb but the main body is damaged. Even though this motorcycle has lights it is not intended for street use, the lights are for trail safety. It has the normal scratches, dings, deteriorating plastic, corrosion, an oil seep at the front rocker box, and other maladies associated with a dirtbike of this age. I bought it about 5 years ago from a friend and it still had the original tires on it. He bought it from the original owner maybe 10 years before that, The original owner had let it sit because of an accident on it while elk hunting in Colorado, that's how the rear fender got the wrinkles in it. Let the pictures be your guide about the condition. I have a printed off parts manual, an original service manual, a copy of the "recipe" for a successful start. It will usually start on the first kick but some times takes 3 on a cold engine. Runs great, must be picked up in Ardmore,Oklahoma. I have no idea of the actual mileage so I estimated 1000mi from what I know about the bike because the item specific page on Ebay wouldn"t take "unknown". Also since it is an off road dirtbike there is no title and will be sold with a bill of sale, I put clear title in the item specifics section because it was the closest choice.
