Vehicle Detail
Paint to sample arena red 911. First off this was a salvage title car. It had a minor fender bender and i have photos if interested. Since i got it i put new bumpers on and repainted the car. I used ppg paint and spent a few hundered hours prepping the car and removing every part from the car and disassembling it for paint. Its a very nice paint job, but im a fabricator by trade not a body man. I had a few "ops" in the clear where i went a litlle heavy. To look 100% a wet sand and buff would be in order. I have not buffed the paint since i painted it. It got 3 layers of base and 3 layers of clear. I also deleted the rear bumperettes. Engine. Engine runs great and makes good power. The ims has not been updated yet. This is a dual row car. Im including a brand new in box EPS oil feed ims bearing. I paid $650 for it. The right side cam tensioners maybe need replacing. They have a squeek on that side. Ive put about 175 miles on the car since i painted it. It also has a new AOS valve and water pump already installed. New ims and the engine is done and once again bullet proof. Exhaust. I removed the stock mufflers and gutted/modifiyed them. Its a little louder then the sport mufflers or the gundo hack. Its very deep and sexy sounding. Trans. This is a LSD differential. It works great and the trans does too EXCEPT when the cars cold the trans is balky going into second gear. It DOES NOT pop out of gear. Once the trans/gear oil is warmed up, the car shifts just fine. Before i started fixing the car, when i first got it, the clutch was slipping under load. I put a new disc in and at the time i didnt have alot of extra money because I had just bought the car cash. So in hindsight i wish i would of waited and did the ims with the clutch. I figured i would later when i got the extra cash. I had plans to track the car Interior. The interior looks like a 131k mile car. I bought another set of seats as the og ones were pretty worn. I removed all the interior and painted the sparkley trim pieces matte black. Everything was cleaned and reinstalled. The interior presents well and nothing too much of an eye sore. Brakes. Oem brakes on the car with good pad life. A complete set of rotors, cermaic pads and sensors brand new in the box are also included Wheels. BBS LM reps. Just refinshed and lip polished. New bbs center caps and bbs stickers. New wheel bolts. No rash. Very nice. Body. As mentioned in the begining theres some minor heavy clear coat sections. Dont read into that to much. The car looks very very nice and im my biggest critic. When i pulled into my friends house with out warning, he thought it was a brand new 911. Had no idea it was a 1999. I also put brand new LED tail lights and they look amazing on the car. Really it made it look like a late model 911. Suspension. Brand new Ceika Coilvers. Brand new. 175 miles on them. I had the monoballs and camber adjust added. These are 100% rebuildable from ceika. The control arms are a little worn. Stock everything else. Ive poured 100s of hours of my time on this car. Im not happy to be selling it. Not in the least. Im in the car nearly 16k. I realize im going to lose money big time on this one. I have a surgery for my daughter i have to pay for out of pocket and the reason for the sale. Im going to set a reserve well under what ive got into it. If it doesnt reach it then i may lower it, if its sensible. If its not I may part the car out, but really i just want it gone so i can move forward and take care of my family. You can call me at 4I9 577 1 nine eleven yes one 911 :) to discuss the sale prior to bidding. Ive done my best to describe the car and is being sold as-is. Theres also a nice collection of engine parts that come with the sale as well as extra body and interior parts. Cams, ims shaft, rods, valves, valve covers etc. The following items are also included and are brand new in the box and need installed. Eps ims bearing kit. Rear main seal. Bixeon retrofit headlight upgrade 4 mayle drilled rotors. 4 pairs of ceramic brake pads. 4 brake sensors. There may be other items im forgetting, but either way you'll be hooked up on this car and car drive it while you finish it. I think for the right person, a true do it yourself guy, this car will make a amazing car and one heck of a deal.
