Vehicle Detail

Vintage Classic Honda CB360T A garage find! The Honda CB360T is a twin cylinder four-stroke motorcycle produced by Honda from 1974 to 1976. It succeeded the Honda CB350 and provided an alternative to the four cylinder CB350F and CB400F. The CB360T was a new design. The 356 cc engine was tuned for broad range torque, and drove the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox, and it shifts smooth and silent. The CB360T has a front hydraulic disc brake, vs the CB360, which has a drum front brake. 9.3:1 Compression Ratio, 34HP @ 9000 RPM. I brought this bike back to life through this past winter, and it is in sound condition. Compression #1-151#, #2-155# when 1st checked; I went through the carbs and replaced the float valves. I acid cleaned (de-rusted) the fuel tank and coated inside with 'Red Kote' fuel tank liner, so never will have a rust problem. The chrome trip around the bottom edge is kind of beat, it shows in one of the pictures. The fuel shut-off valve and lines are new. The seat was restored to original. This bike is all original or restored to original. It starts and runs perfectly. I don't have plates and insurance on it, so can't take it out for a long ride, but I live on a blacktop dead end road and have about 1/2 mile that I can test it on, it runs very nice! And it is QUICK! From my experience with restoring old bikes, I expect it to run better and better when it is ridden more. The old bikes seem to enjoy the exercise after years of inaction! Electric Start. The battery and Rectifier are new. The points are good and timing is perfect, and new spark plugs; The left hand plug wire is taped up for some reason, no problem. Seat height 32"; weight (wet) 392#; Fuel Capacity 2.9gal.; oil cap about 3qt.; Odometer miles: 16981; I balanced the tires; Tread depth-Front: 7/32" (very good) Rear: 2/32 (usable, should be good for this season); Chain and sprocket: Very good; Mufflers: Usable, Stock, Each has a small patch underneath that does not show, appearance good. I made no attempt to clean or restore the paint, it is original, and is faded. Brakes are good, bleeder for front brake is broken, if bleeding is ever needed I would bleed by cracking the brake line, I’ve done it like that on other bikes. The tip is broken off of the front brake lever (I wonder how that happened) There is a small dent on the right hand side of the fuel tank, it shows in a picture; Comes with original owners manual and tool kit, plus a Clymer repair manual. Pick up in person, or ship. Shipping is the buyer’s job, but I can and will give assistance in shipping.
