Vehicle Detail

HAS HARLEY MOUNTS WHICH CAN BE CUT OFF, ORIGINAL MOUNTS ARE STILL ON FRAME AND TANK. ORIGINAL PETCOCK.NICE METAL: BEING STORED IN A HEATED GARAGE HAS KEPT THIS BIKE IN SUCH GREAT SHAPE. I TOOK SOME STEEL WOOL TO PIPES AND ENGINE COVERS AND WOW! ITS LIKE NEW CHROME! AND I DIDNT EVEN POLISH IT YET!AMAL 376 CARB REBUILT: REBUILT WITH NEW FUEL BANJO AND SEALS, CLEANED BY ULTRASONIC, AND POLISHED.ORIGINAL MOTOR AND PRE UNIT TRANS: MOTOR IS FULLY ORIGINAL WITH CAPS, LUCAS K2F MAGNETO, POINTS PROPERLY GAPPED AND TIMED AT TDC. NEW NGK PLUGS. HAS EXCELLENT COMPRESSION ON BOTH CYLINDERS. THE TRANS IS A SLICKSHIFT PRE UNIT.OTHER POINTS: SEAT IS FROM A NEW MODEL TRIUMPH HAS A RIP BUT IS REPAIRABLE. NEEDS SIDE COVERS, FRONT FENDER, FORK STEM EARS, GAUGES, AND RIGHT SIDE PEG. I CAN GET SOME OF THESE PARTS FOR THE RIGHT BUYER WITH THE RIGHT OFFER.OK I am not British bike expert, so if anyone has any advice or things you see please message me. It has the duplex frame (started in 1960) with F4610 stamped on the side of the neck. Found a source I will provide through message, that explained that the duplex frames had many warranty failures the first year of production in 1960, and cracks would form on the neck. The factory would add a lower tube and would replace neck with stamped "X" on it (see pic). This explains why this bike like most other 1960 pre units did not have matching frames. Motor is stamped TR6 D2754 which shows both motor and frame were produced CIRCA 1960. Crankcase number is 115696. IN CONCLUSION BIKE DOES NOT HAVE MATCHING NUMBERS DUE TO RECALL ON THE FRAME. BUT THE PARTS ARE ALL FROM THE SAME PRODUCTION YEAR.THE MOTOR RUNS FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN DIES, I BELIEVE ITS SIMPLY A TIMING ISSUE DUE TO PLUGS GETTING WET. AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TIME THIS TYPE OF BIKE. ANYONE WHO KNOWS HOW CAN PROB DO SO VERY EASILY.***TITLE STATUS***This was found stored in a heated garage. The owner died and had about 6 bikes. I bought the whole lot at an estate sale. Some had titles some did not. The spouse could only find some of them. This triumph unfortunately does not have a title. I can provide a notarized bill of sale, and will pay for title/lien search from my local dmv. Some states are stricter than others when it comes to obtaining a title. Some states don't even require title for a bike this age. NJ is the worst so that is why I am not going to waste my time trying to get a one. And I took that into consideration when deciding my asking price.HAPPY BIDDING!
