1960 Porsche 356B 1600 Super Coupe. COA. Excellent! See VIDEO. 1960 Porsche 356B 1600 Super Coupe Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton Located in PORTLAND, OREGON. Delivered December 31, 1959. Chassis # 110160. Engine # 85473. Sold new by Max Hoffman of New York, this classic 356 had one owner for many years. During that time the car was stripped to bare metal and professionally repainted in Black. Paint today is in excellent condition throughout, having just been detailed. Please see photos. Upholstery is excellent red leatherette. Chrome presents nicely with only minor signs of age. Body and floors are RUST FREE THROUGHOUT. Recently, less than 20 miles ago, the engine was completely rebuilt by a Porsche specialist, including Mahle pistons and liners, rebuilt carburetors, 3/4 cam and lightened and balanced flywheel. Speced at 1720 cc., it runs smooth, strong and fast. I have personally driven this car. It runs, shifts and drives without fault. Excellent power on the freeway with great acceleration. Apparently this was the result of the car being taken apart for restoration and a VIN inspection was made at that time. Because the car was apart, the state indicated the car was disassembled and the brand was placed on the title. Known history of the car does not indicate any past accidents or damage.
