Vehicle Detail

Medical issues are forcing me to sell/trade my project. Hoping to get a Harley and do some riding before my health does not allow it. The "Buy It Now" $8750 US is about a thousand $$$ less than I paid for the car. You are getting the car for less than I paid and the parts for free. So if you are looking for a unique Mustang project I doubt you will find anything better for the money. No other salvage Mustang on eBay comes with a parts list like this one and most have way more milage. Why build a Shelby clone when you can start with the real thing? I have a '07 Shelby GT (NOT A GT500) salvage car that I brought up from Pensylvania. The car has not been registered in Canada so what I have for paperwork is a Pensylvania Salvage Certificate, a bill of sale and all appropriate paperwork for the car to come across the border. It has a bent frame on front drivers rail and both driver and passenger dash air bags are deployed but not the ones in the seats. The doors line up perfectly and open and close beautifully. Sorry my pics don't show passenger side. This is only because the car is parked to close to my other unfinished mustangs and could not get a good pic. There is no damage to the pass side. There are no buckles in the roof or any of the pillar areas. The car has always started rite up on 1st try until recently. The battery died and for some reason, it won't start since. I don't hear the fuel pump prime so it is a fuel issue. I know it is something minor but have not had the time (7 and 9 year old daughters) to investigate further. Well, that takes care of the bad so let us hear the good. At Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas, about 5632 California Specials were converted to Shelby GT cars for the 07 model year. They were only available in the USA at select Ford Dealers. These cars were not sold in Canada so you don't see very many of them around up here. The goodies they received at Shelby are: Ford Racing Power Pack - 90 mm Cold Air Intake - Reworked Engine Calibration - Upgraded Exhaust - 3:55 Axle Ratio - Hurst Short Throw Shifter with Cue Ball Knob Ford Racing Handling Pack - 1.5" Lowering Springs - Stiffer Dampers - Upgraded Sway Bars - Strut Tower Brace Shelby Design Mods - Silver LeMans Racing Stripes - "Shelby GT" Rocker Panel Stripes - Cobra/65-66 GT350 Inspired Hood Scoop - "SHELBY" Spelled Out On Trunk (same as 1968 GT500KR) - Brushed Aluminum Grille - "Shelby GT" Door Sill Plates - Shelby Floor Mats - Authentification Plate above center stack featuring a CSM # - Matching # Tag in engine compartment So with those mods, the car is a bit quicker and slightly different looking than a regular GT. But just in case that isn't enough I have collected some parts to assist in the repair and also have some to make it stand out in appearance as a Shelby should. These parts are not installed but do go with the car. Some are new and some are used but all are in great condition. I did not buy any crappy parts for this car. Body 2 x Fenders (off another black Shelby GT) 1 x California Special Front Bumper Cover (black) 2 x Headlights (L&R) 1 x Shelby GT Brushed Aluminum Grille 1 x Elanor Grille with fog light extensions (similar to a GT but removes the pony and put fog lights in middle) 1 x Mustang GT OE Grille with Fog Lights 1 x "Shelby" Billet Hood Pin Kit 1 x California Special Side Scoops (+ ones on car) 2 x SVT 4" Tip Mufflers 2 x "Shelby" Rear Window Block Off Plates (2 pairs black w/ simulated rivets) 2 x Shelby GT Hood Scoops 1 x Shelby GT Hood Scoop Install Kit and Instructions 4 x 20" Shelby Razor Rims (gunmetal) 2 x 255/35/ZR20 BFG on front rims (no curb rash on rims and tires practically new) 2 x 305/35/20 Nitto 555 on rear rims (no curb rash on rims but tires almost done) 2 x 305/35/ZR20 GY Eagle F1 (used but descent tread) Emblems and Decals 1 x Cobra Jet Faux Fuel Cap (looks like GT500 unit but does not say it) 2 x "Powered By Ford" Fender Badges 1 x GT500 Grille Emblem (cobra right facing) 1 x GT500 Fender Emblem (cobra left facing) 1 x Shelby GT Grille Emblem (running pony) 2 x "Shelby GT" Rocker Panel Stripes 1 x "S" "H" "E" "L" "B" "Y" Trunk Letters Under Hood 1 x "Ford Racing" Strut Tower Brace (+ one on car) 1 x "Ford Racing" Cold Air Intake (+ one on car) 1 x Steeda Urethane Mtr Mount Kit 1 x Shelby Aluminum Master Cyl Cover (not just a lid but a box that covers whole master cyl) 1 x "Shelby GT" Fuse Box Cover ( not just a lid but a box that covers whole fuse box) 1 x Shelby Aluminum Power Steering Resivor 1 x "Shelby GT" Billet Engine Cap Set (dip handle, oil fill, mast cyl, coolant, windshield washer) Interior 1 x Shelby Signature 2 5/8" Carbon Fiber Gauge Set and Pod (boost, fuel press, oil press) 1 x Shelby Signature 2 5/8" Carbon Fiber Oil Temp Gauge 1 x Vent Pod (for above gauge) 2 x "Shelby" with "S" Snake Headrest Covers (1 pair) 1 x "Shelby" with "S" Snake Armrest Cover 1 x "Shelby Signature" with "S" Snake Carpet Set (2 x fronts and 1 x trunk) 1 x "Shelby GT/SC" with "S" Snake Carpet Set (2 X fronts and 1 x trunk) 1 x "Terlingua Race Team" Floor Mat Emblem Set (no mats) 1 x Shelby "S" Snake Aluminum Dead Pedal 1 x "Shelby" with "S" Snake Aluminum Shift Ball 1 x Passenger Air Bag Cover (carbon fiber look) 1 x Mustang and Shelby GT Owners Manual and Case 1 x 2009 Mustang and Shelby GT500 Owners Manual and Case I also have some nice memorabilia and couple other parts that could be worked into the rite deal. The car is nicely appointed with carbon fiber look dash trim, black leather interior, active anti-theft and the shaker 1000 stereo. It only has 9856 orig miles (15862 klm) so once fixed it will be like a new car, a really cool new car. It would make a fabulous father/son project. My cardiologist has advised me to stay away from sports cars. This is the ONLY REASON I am considering selling. I am NOT SELLING the car because 1) It can't be put back on the road 2) It is to expensive to repair 3) It can't be repaired. I AM SELLING the car because I'm hoping to get a season of riding in before I am unable. I may be interested in trades for Harley Dyna 2010+. Any questions let me know. I will try to answer in a timely manner but my schedule is crazy. And the usual eBay stuff. Shipping arrangements and costs are buyers responsibility. I am more than willing to work with your shipper but buyer pays and sets it up. I reserve the right to end auction at any time as the car is advertised locally. Please only serious bids/offers as I really do not want to sell the car. I turned down $8200 last time it was listed so please no low ballers. Thanks For Your Interest
